Her vision speaks to the real needs we encounter daily in our parishes

Chenowith02.jpegI am excited and proud to fully endorse the Rev. Jeanne Pupke as the next President of the Unitarian Universalist Association! We are living in a peculiar time as people of faith. The religious landscape is changing, every day brings new justice work, and uncertainty hangs over all our endeavors and hopes. I believe Jeanne Pupke has the skills, vision, and experience to guide the Unitarian Universalist Association into the future. Her vision of a more deeply connected, thriving, and responsible association of congregations speaks to many of the real needs we encounter daily in our parishes. How are we connected to the UUA? How can we cast a wider vision? How do we support our congregations and nurture new and transformative models of ministry? I believe Jeanne can help us address these questions and solidify our hopes into a concrete vision for our association. Her experience on the UUA Board of Trustees and the growth she’s fostered at First UU in Richmond as their Senior Minister are the skills we need to lead us into a prophetic and healthy future. Jeanne is the candidate we need for the Unitarian Universalism of today and the days yet to come!
