I am one of many ministers who has been long impressed with Jeanne as a religious leader. I first encountered her when she was a lay leader in my church, First Unitarian Church of Portland, Oregon, where she proved to be a bright, compassion, visionary and fair leader. After she went off to seminary and became an ordained minister, I then watched her prophetic ministry emerge with clarity and purpose as she helped shape the South's religious narrative around the right to marry. Since that time, I have witnessed her again and again time sharing her time, thought and leadership generously within our Association.
I believe that Jeanne Pupke is the best candidate to take us through these next difficult years with a promising vision and enough people compassion and executive skills to carry it out. It is without hesitation that I formally endorse Jeanne Pupke.
